Bumper Cars - Flayra Gave Me Permission

<div class="IPBDescription">to use some models</div> Hey guys. Just wanted to get some feed back from you. I run the mod <a href='http://www.planethalflife.com/bumpercars/' target='_blank'>Bumper Cars</a> - If you take a look at the site you will see that several other mod makers have given me permission to use their models in the game.

Well now so has Flayra - so my question to you guys is WHAT do you want to see. Obviously it needs to be a marine sitting on something. So here are the only two that I think would look ok.

A Marine on a Lerk (Just like my jousting model I did)
Or a car made out of an Onos - with a marine inside it.

What do you think? Can you think of any other combinations that would work?

Would <i>two</i> models be possible?

In that case, I'd suggest:

- A marine sitting in a car made out of a CC.

- A skulk sitting on an Onos/ in an Onoscar.

Onos would be the best, its probably the most feared thing on NS, aswell as the best thing to make a bumper car out of.

I like the Marine on an Onos idea personally. Maybe a little cute Onos so you don;t have to worry about Hull sizes. I can't wait to see it!

This is what I came up with. I think it looks freaking great. Remember it is supposed to look like a novelty car so that is why the marine is larger than the onos. Also instead of adding a steering wheel like in my other models I made the marine grab the Onos's spikes. hehehe

I've just been browsing the Bumper Cars homepage
and it looks like a fun mod.

We havent come up with any yet. For the past two weeks we have tested movements, collisions, power ups, and maps. We havent yet finished the "core" code yet although all that is left is the death sequence, plugging in correct sprites and sounds, and the HUD. Once we are ALL satisifed that the movements and collisions are fluid and not rough we will go to work on the HUD. After the HUD is done the mod will be released.

So it's possible you could easily see it before March.
