<div class="IPBDescription">and runs fine</div> OK.. for u European NS junkies, I've set up a new dedicated server... 20 slots. For UK ppl has *excellent* pings... I've seen some ppl with pings as low as 14(!)

It's pinging 40 in ASE, so should be pretty smooth <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> (empty at the moment though. I was just going to comment that for me in the UK it was pinging erratically around 150 - 250 but then I remembered I had Kazaalite running <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'> It's 31 now in GSA which is about as low as it gets for me.

Playing there tonight. Fast enough but can't you do something about the AMX kicking? I got kicked twice in 10 minutes. Very annoying.

Admin, whilst the ping is very low you seem to have found a way to let the server voice spam us. That was VERY annoying, also annoying was joining mid game and finding 10 marines and 6 aliens and seeing that 5 of the marines were on the same clan and two of the others were you and someone with the same clan tag as you whilst almost all the aliens were relatively inexperienced players. Horribly stacked teams led to a dull game. The atmosphere was not friendly, possibly because no-body could understand anyone else, what is the prefered language on your server?

Finally something that ruined your server and was your fault entirely, on the second game the map changed mid game. That REALLY SUCKED. Why, Idont know and frankly I dont care, if your not going to let us play out a game then switch the sodding thing off so we dont waste half an hour when we could be playing on a proper server.

Sorry to shout but your server has really **** me off. If going to play on Roob's now.

Yeah, that server voice spamming was also irritating.......plus the Spanish clan. No problem with speaking Spanish it's just that they never shut up!!!

Sorry about the voice spam... I'm thinking serously about limiting these commands.

About the kicking... some users (the ones who paid the server) have reserved slot... The reservation mode I choose was the wrong one (kick hpb's without reserved slot to make room for incoming players with reserved slot). Now, the reserved slots are kept fom start and u will not be kicked.

About team stacking... You can´t blame about that... I can ask ppl to use random door... but what ppl does is their own fault. Guess, I need a script for amx that prevents players from wait too much time in RR. Any directions?

Server has been paid by spaniards so Spanish is a tolerable language... Sorry about that... My team m8s always try to use English, but some regulars (not on my clan) keep using Spanish. Just deal with that... I've played in Finnish, Swedish or German servers, where the language is totally strange to me and I didn't **** about that.... What i'm not tolerating is any form of bigotry. Yesterday a guy started to insult ppl in server calling us "dirty mexicans" or so, and some **** talk about "gas chamber for mexican inmigrants"...

About mid game map change... that was an error from a inexperienced friend of mine... Sorry again.

I've been running servers for 2 years... first was CS, then TFC, DoD and now NS.... which is a totally different game. Just give me a few days to fine tune the policies in my server...

team stacking - I know there is little you can do except ask players not to stack, and it might have been a one off.
Voice Spam - please do
kicking - as long as it warns in the welcome screen you can do what you want.
Language - Spanish funded? Then Spanish is fine, I dont understand a word of it though so I'll probably not become a regular.
Map change - mistakes happen

There is a amx plugin that allows you to move ppl between teams even in 1.04.. (if forces as reconnect but it work pretty good).. as far as sitting in the RR, you should be able to make a plugin that checks the team.. then after a short time if the team is still set to 'none'.. make them go random.. this in conjuction with the afk amx plugin the TCquest made should do the trick.

Man i'm starting to get **** with AMXmod... I get a lot of runtime errors... (seems that they are related to logging). I set the slot reservation mode to 0 (don't kick anyone and keep reserved slots only for players with reservation). But ramdonly kicks players (soz EagleC).. Maybe is the anti-afk plugin... If I'm not be able to find a solution for this I will switch to adminmod or clanmod. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'>

Well I wouldn't have thought is mistook me for afk, I was running round feedwater trying to chomp two marines the first time it did it. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>
I've not used amx but maybe you can set it to give a reason when it kicks,
ie:-
kicked to make way for vip
kicked for talking too much
kicked for ging to sleep

might be more usefull than "kicked by console"...

I am still not sure why right at the start of the game the marines got 2 more players than the aliens. I thought there was only supposed to be a maximum of one player difference unless someone drops...

Boneless what version of Amx are you running? I get a couple of runtime errors that I'm pretty sure have to do with the rslots. I'm using 8.4 and will be upgrading to 9.x this weekend. I know what you are talking about but.. everthing still works.. and it doesn't cause crashes.. so I'm happy.
