<div class="IPBDescription">write write write ;)</div> my favorite round at voogru was that when me and my teammates were about to finish-off the very last hive, our commander set off admin fireworks so that we'll have a visual eye candy while screwing up the last hive...MUAHAHAHA...ohhhhhhh GDI!!! i love that round.

Why, when someone just asks a simple question, do you suddenly feel the need start dealing out grief to the voogru servers ?! Just stay quiet if you don't like them.

lol... I remember that.
Marines were loosing, and it was late and I was bored.
So I relocated marines into the pit by the marine spawn. Took a fair amount of time before the aliens found us.
Lot of them died trying to build chambers on us since they would fall thru the cracks and hit the bottom.
Notice how the armory has no medpack on it.

That's all I was trying to say. It's not balanced. I just get a little annoyed that people see fit to compare it to normal NS and then suggest things in voogru's servers that "should" be in NS. Only thing I've seen yet that I'd actually want is the hive health bar.

Its fairly balanced, provided the commander on the marines knows what he is doing.
Also, you never stated if you auctually been in the server. If you make comments about the server being unbalanced please at least play a few rounds and decide for yourself. At different times of the day at least.
I still fail to see why anyone has a problem with the servers. I find it far more balanced than normal servers. It has more experienced player, playing on public servers is just too easy now. It's more fun too and the players are chilled. Anyways, the morals of this story are:
- Stop spamming threads with off-topic bs, this is a thread about 'Best Moments On Voogru', not 'I Get Raped By Voogru Players So The Server Must Suck'
- Flaming Voogru won't get you, or the thread anywhere
- If you don't like it, stay away from the server (we're bettter off without n00bs) and SUYF
Personally mine was on ns_hera, as alien. Some **** on our team took down the marine start, causing them to relocate to Processing. There was a huge stalemate of us trying to take it back or build hives secretly. Eventually we managed to get the Ventilation hive up, it stayed up for about about 10 seconds, but we got like 5 fades and 3 movements. So after some serious battles, we finally took processing (at which point we had 2 hives building. The marines had relocated back again to their spawn and came charging up back to Data Core in heavy armor with nades. We were about to lose the Data Core hive when a bunch of Onos' came in and killed them all. Then the marines relocated again to cargo storage, but by this time we had a crap-load of fades and xenociders and just mopped them up

Have to say that this was my own best moment on the voogru server as well, and any other servers which have picked up things like the NVG plugin, health-dispensing-armory plugin, or res-donation plugin.

Odd, considering it was asking for the best moments on Voogru's server. Not asking for the best games, in-game moments, or anything /related/ to the gameplay. Also funny how it's more of making the game easier on the Marines, when they already can win overwhelming victories every time /unless/ their team is filled with 'n00bs'. So.. if they need that extra help... isn't Voogru's server (and those which run the same plugins) more the 'n00b' field? Experienced players are playing on the straight-up 1.04 servs. They don't need the extra help.
Newbies whine, veterans adapt. So either start adapting, or get /yourself/ back to CS... as most of those who choose to adapt, HATE CounterSuck.

Again, how is this off-topic? Asking for best moments ON Voogru's server, not best in-game moments. And just because you can't deal with playing on a regular server, and people have a problem with the serv you run off to to cover for the holes in your 'm4d CS 5k1llz', of course they don't want to play there 'because they got raped'. Keep telling yourself that. Maybe you'll believe it one day.

Far as I can see, no one has flamed Voogru in this thread yet, simply posted their best moments on the server. You, on the other hand, have come out and flamed someone for being on-topic... and simply posting something <b>you</b> didn't like.

As noted... seems like needing to play on a server where there are plugins to cover for your lack of skill is more 'n00b'ish than those who choose to play the game as it was intended.
As a matter of fact out of the last 900 rounds on Voogru, Aliens won 600 and Marines won 300. This may have been down to reduced nade damage, which has been reverted to default.
All I'm saying is, you guys need to just shut your mouths, you're not saying anything new, it's always the same old ill-informed **** that you guys spam topics with. You've all been warned about sending threads off-topic into flame wars, but you don't take notice. Why even bother stating your opinions when plenty of other lamers have done it before. If you have a problem, keep it to yourself and go back to your own favourite server. I'm sure the fact that all 3 Voogru servers are full almost 24/7 speaks for itself...
