Well lets have a looksy
Last night I started a thread to start up a directory of uk clans so that I can basically know where the community is. I had previously spent over an hour going through the clan recruitment section of the forums. (This wasnt too helpful). I personally think this thread belonged in this section but the powers that be gave me a snide ill-conceived reply and closed the thread. I would like to apologise for such a waste of forum space and will now actually turn to the real ns uk community to get this information.

i think perhaps people didnt understand what you meant by "clan directory"
perhaps there could be an anything goes forum where threads never get locked unless they are offensive?
you meant something similar i assume?
I PMed the mod regarding the post, too. He went through and updated all of the clan recruitment threads, if that helps you any.
youll se alot of clanners in there
if you ask nicely we could put someting in teh topic maybe
I apologize for locking your thread; the impression I got of it was Joe Nub looking for a clan and too lazy to go through the proper channels.
but i get teh impression PMing teh mod happens a little too often on this forum
nobody is forced to read any of these posts and i think mods could be a little less eager to lock
ziggy was after all only trying to help teh community in his own little way
people misunderstood what he meant
forgive me for going off topic
"Im really lazy"
"can I have some details like clan name, website, irc channel, etc"
All of these are just as easily said by a (key word) lazy person looking for a clan. With regard to the "I'm trying to get a directory up," I assumed you had found a directory to use as a reference, but it wasn't working, and came to the forums instead because you were admittedly (again, key word) lazy.
I reopened the topic.
