<div class="IPBDescription">You be the judge</div> Ok, there's all these "You know you are doing XX too much when.." things, well, I just had one 'happen' to me.
Woke up this afternoon (after playing NS for 24 hrs). The sun is shining throughh my window and leaving a small circle of light on my *yellow* wall. I *immediatly* snap to attention and manage to think "There's a marine in my bathroom" before realising what/where/who I was. I also use contacts (didn't sleep with them) so the circle was a bit 'fuzzy' around the edges and the center was dark, it really looked almost exactly as a parasite circle.
Kind of makes you think, eh? <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Ah well, off to play some NS. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
edit: Gah! typo in the topic, mods, fix it?

a game where you get points every turn and you need points to walk shoot etc. and when i played that game for a few days, every timein real life i wanted to walk or do smth else i wanted to know if i have enough points to do that.
and after playing gta3 i was walking on the streets and i thought what would happen if i start killing and hijacking cars just like that. <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Or kill two birds with one genetically-altered stone and just cross yourself with a spidermonkey <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Same, after watching the matrix enough times and seeing how they did wall-walking I thought "I could probably do that"
So I've got time to kill in between classes at school one day, and I decide to try to wall-run a brick wall. I look both ways to make sure no teachers are looking, I get a running start of about 20 feet, I literally run straight at the wall and jump just in time to fling myself upwards and a bit to the side. 2 footsteps later I see I haven't broken anything, so I've been doing it on a regular basis ever since.
My average now is 3 steps, about 9 foot height and 6 over, and 45degrees from perpendicular to the wall. My max is about 12 feet [edit] (scratch 12, it just feels that high up when you're looking down. probably just 10 still)[/edit], 4 steps on the wall, and 8 feet over, 30degrees from perpendicular to the wall.
It's surprizingly fun, but I highly recommend wearing comfortable pants and decent sneakers--need a lot of traction, which is my reason for only having tried this stunt on a brick wall (other reason is because nobody sees telltale footprints on unpainted walls like brick <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )
[edit]Admittedly, there have been a number of times I don't fall on my feet. A hefty number of times. And yes, it does hurt, so if at all possible, get a martial arts teacher to teach you how to do crazy stuff like this properly.[/edit]
whatever you do, do not get behind the wheel of a car
"OMIGOD ONOS <<screeech>> <<crash>>"

OMG, I am SO trying that when we get back from break.
Besides, I'm not a child, not yet a woman... ehh... no that's wrong (damn Vritney)... what I ment to say is I have a job and stuff... maybe I should try turning up there some day and see if they still recognise me.
That's the funniest thing I've seen all day! And I saw two towers today (which had way too much comedic relief IMHO), so that's saying a lot.
the Gollum/Smeagol thing was well done, but Gimli was made to 'comical'
I liked part I way way better in the movies, this was way off too many times.
oh yeah , just a liitle bit off-topic, but I just had to catch on that one.
The last LOTR attracted many people, and with its success they knew they had a huge fanbase, therefore adding something that would make it more entertaining, and thus more sellable would make them more money. Its a tradeoff, but I personaly liked it, it showed how the characters bonded and stuff. Anyway, thought it was good, you didnt, no biggie
/on topic/
...i really have nothing to say
How exactly do you fit 27 hours of play into a 24 hour day?
(This should be good <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->)

I feel sorry for Gimli, being one of the few remaining dwarfs.

o we do have a life... an NS LIFE!
~~~come~~~~join..... us....... we.....nid....more......gorgies.... *drool*
No hallucinations but when you go out after this you start "<b>thinking in Grapic Engines</b>" , imagining how what ever you actually see would look in that GFX engine.
/I used to play D&D a couple years ago and my groups solution to every unsolvable problem was to "Throw the Dwarf at It!!" I cracked up for a least a minute solid when I saw that in LOTR/
After playing TFC (as a sniper) for about 24 hours straight I went out for lunch at 9:30am, went for a shower and CURSED myself for leaving the shower door open - a demoman coulda thrown a pipebomb in! So I ran to the kitchen and... stopped at the door, realizing I could be sniped through the window! AAAGH!
Someone else said he once went shopping, and wandered through the mall trying to pick a good place to put at turret so it'd have a clear shot down through the entrance to River Island... <!--emo&::sentry::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/turret.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='turret.gif'><!--endemo-->
and one time when i was going to train judo there is this hole on the wall at the top and the first thing i'm thinking of is a vent <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
and many times when i'm bored and sit somewhere i can start to think what the best solution for putting turrets and stuf would be...this game isn't good for your health <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Heh, or your academic life.
We used photogates in a physics experiment the other day, and in the subsequent quiz to see what we learned, I managed to write "phasegate" about three times. Needless to say my prof wasn't too impressed. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
