And this shows how little you know. I didn't use a single filter. Think before you post, or know what you are talking about.

Not bad, but the fade looks like godzilla imho, but the "filters" they say you used, look more like brush editing etc.

BTW, don't like the fade to white effect at top, too jaggy

    Godzilla...lol

But I thought of using a few grunge brushes, but was too lazy to re-download them. (I reformatted a few days ago.)

I got a picture of sand, and wood, and messed with the opacity and blending modes. I think I had one in color burn, and one in overlay. It took a lot of tweaking to get it to look right, and I have the .psd if filter-boy wants to see it.

I used a 175 size brush, with high softness, I don't see any jaggies. But I'm using 1280x1024.

I don't think it's supposed to me smooth. To me, it looks more like a grunge-gradient.

And besides, Photoshop 6 owns Paint Plop Pro.

I wish you could be a Fade that big. It would be fun hiding in vents from it on a One on One game. But I like the picture.

Even though you didn't use any filters, everything was still prefabricated. Kinda falls in the same category, to me, anyway :/

I think it would be better if the brush were a bit more uneven, or not filling the entire screen. Because it is, it looks like a filter was applied to the image. So my recommendation would be to (A) get a new brush and apply it to the image, or (B) get a new brush and erase parts of the old brush away. I think a bit more 'uneven-ness' would do it good.
