Space Marine 40k[help]

<div class="IPBDescription">what a mess....</div> Right guys all of u may know, that ive been working on this Space Marine from Q3.

now the other night i was working on it, i cudnt be arsed to look for tuts, so i used my knowlege from making P and W models for guns :/

and this is what my model converstion looks like without guidence

lol, what a mess.

Dont worry your cotton socks for those people who want it, it hopefully will be sorted.

    and what u mean, current Space marine model? do u mean the UT ones with the load of skins?

    There seems to be quite the problem with the NS skeleton and custom models. I really don't know what the problem is, but I'm sure anybody who has tried to create a custom player model has had that exact same problem. I have no idea what the cause is. There is really no way that any vertex assignment should look like that. I've heard that the best solution is just to start over again. Keep me updated if you find out what's wrong.

    Well I've taken over working on it so it should be done pretty soon. I'm pretty sure the problem for him was that he tried to edit the bones to fit the model instead of vice-versa.

    ive given my work to Psycho, hopefully it will he will get it out and ready for u lot soon.

    plus different jump pack/Assault pack. which i made, and i hope will work.

    i also tried a start on my Tyranid Army pack, not much progress due to lack of knowlege.

    tbh i might just leave that project and start on a Aliens Turret Factory

    This bit of thread necromancy is brought to you by a WIP shot after I finished setting up the model pose. The jetpack model Argo made wasnt very good and had over 4000 polies so for its first release it isnt going to have a jumppack. Anyway I just need to assign the verts and then do some more tweaking. anyway here's the shot.

    lol, yeah i think i used too many segments. BUT it did fit the jet pack.
    First proper model tho :/

    The thing about the deformed model after compiling, that's a compiler error. I've gotten it when trying to convert models to ToD, too. Even the AL|ENS Skulk model I fixed up did that to me. I fixed the problem each time by deleting the skeleton, reimporting and reassigning completely.
