Freeze After Clicking Internet Games

<div class="IPBDescription">need help plz</div> Need some help plz. After launching NS and clicking on multiplayer then Internet Games the game completely freezes. When I hit ctrl-alt-delete and shut down NS I notice there is a nice cute little ddhelp.exe error box sitting on my desktop.
I downloaded and installed GameSpy Arcade but when I tried to join a game the game would launch then freeze as it was trying to connect to the server.
Everything was fine last nite didn't change anything. I just decided to play some NS today and found that I couldn't <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Running:
AMD Athlon 1.4 GHz CPU
512 MB ram
GeForce 4 ti 4200 with 128 MB vid ram

Hope you can help me I've actually grown quite fond of this game <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Same problem here. HL.exe also freezes when I try using the console to connect to a server. Already reinstalled everything, and it didn't help.

    The problem isn't exclusive to NS. I tried connecting to my favorite TFC server and the same thing happened.

    yea, i thought it was me because my copy is.... well... illigle, and my computer has been though a few nasty crashes over the last few days, so i spent literl3 3 hours re-downloding ns, hl 1.1.1.0 update, and half-life from kazaa, reinstalling them, and trying to get it to work... nothing... replased that file.... nothing....

    I'm having the same problems too! It's insane! I thought it might be because I downloaded the new 41.09 drivers for my GeForce Ti 4200 last night.     Does anyone know if WON will fix this problem, or will we have to manually place the new woncommlist in? I would place in the new list, but computers and I don't mix too well past games, porn, and work; last time I messed with files my computer was completely ruined.

    Did download the new woncomm.list that is posted above?
    And did you replace the old one?
