Kharaa:

Pawns- skulks
Rooks- offence chambers
Knights- lerks
Bishops- fades
Queen- ohnos
King- hive

TSA marines:

Pawns- LMG marine
Rooks- sentry turrnts
Knights- seige
Bishops- jetpack marines
Queen- HA HMG marine
King- CC

Anyone agree?

    It sounds like it could be a fun map. I'm just wondering how it would work exactly.     yeah that would be a great idea.. but i would see the hive more fitting for the queen and onos more fitting for king. [edit]and the bishop could be lerk, beczuse they can fly far distances, and the fade as knight because its a warrior, and can blink, the knight being the only piece that doesnt move in a straight line anywhere.[/edit]

    I think the Onos as queen and Hive as king works well. The queen can move anywhere it wants...like an Onos on a rampage. The Hive is more stationary...so the one space at a time fits. Plus, killing an Onos doesnt end a game...killing a Hive does.

    Someone needs to make HL Chess. Then have boards and pieces that are themes from other mods. Like what HL Bumpercars is doing.

    we had so much fun beta testing 2 days ago, we all got on to play test the maps

    To the guy who thought I ment a map.......nevermind lol

    the lerk would be the knight because the knight can jump over peices just like the lerk can fly over players
    and the hive is the king because if you lose the hive gameover, same with marine CC

    methinks the onos should be the rooks, since a rampaging onos is much like one, it only goes one direction, wreaking havoc across the board.

    also, make the bishops gorges.


    and now, my idea ofr peice assignment


    Pawn: LMG marine/ Skulk
    Rook: HA/GL marine (stylized, of course)/ Onos
    Bishop: Shotgun Marine/ Gorge
    Knights: Jetpack Marine /Lerk
    Queen: HA/HMG Marine (stylized)/ Fade
    King: Com Chair (carried by 2 HAs)/ Hive (carried by two straining lerks)
