I remember when I first started playing online games putting everyones mother down seemed the "in" thing but now n00b is a dirty word ........It really fires ppl up ? to that i say, newbies dont know it lookslike a phallus! and my second time playing i put a sensory first because it costs 10 and the others cost 14, so surely it is designed for the early-game. i had gone gorge as a newbie because the team didnt ahve one, so they surely needed someone!

Okay, you actually posted this after playing NS a third time?
There are so many things wrong with this. Maybe if everyone had 33 resources for a while, then they would have needed a gorge, but for some reason I think every one was at 13 resources when you gorged.
n00b just rolls off my shoulder because the person usually yelling at me is a complete moron that needs attention.
Discussion in other threads has proposed, and I agree, that there is a significant difference between a newbie / newb and a n00bie or n00b.
A newbie is, as the word suggests, someone new to playing the game. We were all newbies once, and then as we learned the game, we became progressively less newbie. In fact, some few become l337 (I am not one of them)
A n00b is often someone who has played the game a lot, but cannot or will not play it with skill. Instead, they seem to take pleasure in spoiling the game for others.
A N00b is a newb that never got any better.

You don't know, some 7 year old kid might take it seriously. I mean cmon! I swear to god some of the kids that are on their comms bugging the commander for ammo and guns and stuff, i mean no lie guys, they're like 5, and then when you ask for their age and they get all defensive, they log off and cry into thei diapers. So, calling people a n00b hurts. and if you have nothing nice to say don't say it at all.
