Those Little Icons Next To The Names

<div class="IPBDescription">what is the skulk one for?</div> Ok, I know the TSA one is for the devs, there's the green one for the admins, and the brownish person one for the playtesters.

What is the skulk one for? I've never seen it in a game, but it's right there in the ns folder with all the others?

-thx

    Strange, i was told the green TSA symbol was used to signify you were using Cheating-Death.

    Well, the TSA symbol (It's blue, by the way), on some servers, does mean you use CD, but it was originally intended for developers, I think. As for the skulk, I think that it's for the NSGuides. I'm not exactly sure, though.

    The TSA symbol is the developer one.

    Blue TSA - Dev.
    Yellow skulk - Playtester.
    Yellowy-green marine - NS Guide.
    Green icon - Admin.

    The icons have nothing to do with CD.

    Thanks for clearing this up. The guide/playtester thing confused me, cause all I've seen are the guides, all of whom were playtesters. So I just assumed the yellow person thing meant playtester.

    thanks again!

    Some guides aren't playtesters, take Mouse for instance <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I believe the official guide page is:
    <a href='http://guides.readyroom.org/' target='_blank'>http://guides.readyroom.org/</a>

    The guide program kind of fell by the wayside when Readyroom went down, but we still remain true to the ideal if not the action. Basically, when we play with [NSGuide] in front of our names, we're basically saying "Hi, I'm noob-friendly and am more than happy to answer any questions you might have about NS!" (:
