Dude, you know I'm good for it. I'll be going Friday night. What really, really sucks is that no theaters within walking distance are showing it. I mean, smooth move, whoever decided to not show one of the highest grossing films of the year within close reach of one of the largest colleges in America.

By the way, I have already seen it, though, and I think it is absolutely incredible.

no docto, no. man, you all gotta come to seattle, and watch it at the CINERAMA, ONE OF THE 13 THEATERS TO HAVE A DIGITAL PROJECTOR! you might think the movie looks like crap, but thats because it wasnt trasnmitted via a boeing sattelite to you theater

Alrighty... I just got done watching it, and I was truly impressed. Just like all the critics said, it was closer to the spirit of episdoes 4, 5, and 6. ***Spoiler***When Yoda threw down his cane, and absorbed the lightning, 'Much to learn, have you still'... I got a chill... he reminded me of Raiden at that moment. That whole colliseum seen had me excited. Mace holding the saber to Jenga's throat, ninja Jedi ready to kick ###... hell, I'm still excited. I'm still excited.

I saw it last night (That's Thursday for those of you who can't be bothered to count backwards) and it was cool. Saber fights weren't as good as in TPM but overall it was an improvement. And of course Yoda has the coolest scene in the whole movie.

Thursday morning- 12: 06, aw yeah. Very cool. Yoda was the star, no doubt. The movie was good. No where near as good as The Empire Strikes Back (what could be?), but good.

Let's just say that the yoda scene had me absolutely amazed. His fight scene is spectacular, albeit fleeting. Oh, and Natalie Portman is hot, too. Ever notice how she always manages to show some skin? Heehee....

For someone who can barely walk, yoda can sabre with the best of them.

Must be the best Star Wars movie i've seen ! ..

    Padme/Amadala (?) IS hot !

    I disagree there.

    The first hour was... boring..

The fight scenes were great, and so were the special effects. Jango's death was too short and some other things that I dislike but will not mention. It did set the stage for a great ep3 but Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are still the best, imho.

I think it's more that she's an attractive woman in a Star Wars movie than it is that she's actually remarkably beautiful. How many of you were pining over her after seeing "The Professional?"

    Oh... wait... I was. : )

big time not impressed the first ten minutes were great though some of the diving through traffic was a bit fifth element and the 20-30 mins at the end was cool especially the bit with yoda. The CG was awesome but the middle of the film? well it just lacked something, the script was thin and the pace just wasn't right.. I hate to cus starwars it seems as though you are someone who should be locked in a mental institution if you don't like anything about them but sorry everyone phantom menace was loads better it had better fight scenes than II (with the exception of yoda's fight this time) it was better paced than II it had a better title than II and if armidala had half a brain (which she seems too and god is she gorgeous&#33 she would not have married anakin because he had to be the most annoying stuck up little #### ever I know he is supposed to be a bit arrogant as he becomes DV but this film took the ####. Oh well I won't go on I could list more problems but I can't be bothered.

Not my cup of tea big dissapointment 3 stars out of 5

I will now be happy to bow down and die to anyone who won't accept that I have said George Lucas has actually done it wrong this time.

I thought a total of maybe 30 to 45 minutes of it was pretty good. Unfortunately, it had some of the worst acting and the most appaulingly bad dialogue that I have seen in quite some time. Also, a friend of mine sitting next to me in the 4th row of the theater literally fell asleep several times.
