Starcraft... thy friend.. thy enemy.
<div class="IPBDescription">Prison of zergy...ness... stuff.. yeah..</div>Well, it was only inevitable that after looking around NS so much that I should go back and give Starcraft another go around. Big Mistake. It turns out that I remembered how FRIGGIN' LONG IT TAKES TO DO -ONE- MISSION, but it's so addictibly good I have to bare it and finish it to the end.
I never DID beat Broodwar, so that only made the "have to stick with it" mentality stronger. And so with a week of it, I'm finaly at the acursed last (supposedly) level. I must destroy that blasted Overmind so I can get back to doing something constructive!!!!!!
And .. yeah.. that is basicaly why I haven't had any new comics in a while.. that and school has been.. how to say... "gettin' its choatic all up on my face"
So, seeing how this post has been nothing but an excuse to my lazyness, those that bother to read this, try to post funny and/or memorable freak accidents or what not you've had in Starcraft, just for the pointlessness of it!

lol, starcarft rules, I used to play alot on the internet, I dont play as much now tho, I cant remember so much, but I CAN remember the time I met an admin, living in sweden working for blizzard, we played a round (me and him together) and he told me lots of stuff, I asked him about starcraft II and stuff, he said there will be a starcraft II and he said the story and everything is soon finished, and they are on a good way on the main game too but they wont release it in a couple of years or so because they are just about to release wc III and blah blah blah.
sad, wish they would release it soon, the starcraft and diablo games own so bad!
becouse of the exelent online play
Then BW came. I remember the 4 terran mission where you either get annihilated by nukes or constantly attacked by battlecruisers. IMHO, the battlecruisers are easier but I chose the nukes, just for the challenge.
But the most difficult mission I saw is probably the last zerg mission (the 2nd bonus one) : Omega. I had a hard time with that one.

I'm insulted you would even say that. Starcraft is still a kick-### RTS and is still very popular, and is still my favourite
I only played SC MP, never had the patience to play SP.

It's also unbeaten by Battle Realms, also that one has great graphics.
Unfortunately I suck @ SC MP.
Could you imagine a batty swarm in NS flying around the map taking out every outpost with little resistance?
and whats this abut bonus missons how do you get them!
Yeah, the first bonus is the one where Zeratul finds the Zerg/Protoss hybrid created by Duran.
There's a nice dialog when you find the statis cell (that's what I remember from it):
Zeratul:I ... I've never seen a creature like that before.
Computer: Test subject 36, classified protoss/zerg hybrid, in perfect cryon-hibernation. Psyonic emmanations minimal.
Zeratul: No.....
Duran: Magnificient, isn't it?
Zeratul: What? Who are you?
Duran: I've had many names throughout the millenias, young prodigal, but you probably know me best as Samir Duran.
Zeratul: Kerigan's consort. Is this part of her twisted schemes?
Duran: No. Young Kerigan couldn't have engineered this grand experiment. Althought her rebirth in the Zerg has sped up my progress, I can assure you that this endeavour is quite beyond her narrow understanding.
Zeratul: If you are not her pawn, then what are you?
Duran: I am a servant of a far greater power. A power that has slept for countless ages and is reflected in the creature within that cell.
Zeratul: Do you have any conception of what you've created here? Do you have any idea of what this, this hybrid is capable of?
Duran: Of course I do! This creature is the completion of a cycle. It's role in the cosmic order was preordained when the stars were young, behold the culmination of your history.
Zeratul: All I behold is an abomination.
Duran: You violence is typical young prodigal, as well as your inability to comprehend the greater schemes of things. You can destroy all of the specimens here, it will do you no good, for I have seeded the hybrid on many, many worlds. You will never find them all before they awaken. And when they do..... your universe will be changed..... forever.
