Missing Cursor

<div class="IPBDescription">Can't comm or evolve</div> My friend just installed NS using CS Retail and his cursors were missing when he used the right-click menu. So he installed Half-Life and then updated it 1.1.1.0. Then installed NS. His cursors are still missing. He said that he can't go into commander mode because he has no cursor to build things. And with aliens, he can't evolve because his cursor is also missing. How can he fix this?
I've never had this problem myself and never heard of it before.

I think there's a cvar thet, if changed , makes the game use the standard windows cursor... Or it's a command line parameter... But I don't remember what it is...

Sounds like he has toggle editps on.

Tell him to add the necessary alias to use the mute function in NS. Then use the key to bring up the cursor. I can't remember where it is, so you'll have to do a search ^_^
