Dr.Mario, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Yoshi all came from the classic and new mario series.

I dunno what game DK came from...


I think Captain Falcon came from Metroid Fusion.... not sure.....

Ganondorf, Link, Young Link, and Zelda all came from Legend of Zelda series...

Falco and Fox came from Star fox series..

Ice climbers came out from and very old gameboy game (i think)

Kirby came out from Kirby series on game boy and nintendo 64..

Ness came out from Earthbound..

Pichu, Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Jigglypuff came from Pokêmon...

Mr. Game and Watch is a very old game character...

ANd finally, Roy and Marth came out from the game Fire Emblem. FIre emblem is unfortunately, in only Japenese version only. (maybe that explains why they speak Japanense?)

    from "Kirby's dreamland" for the GB


    Captain falcon was from the f-zero racing series

    DK was from the donkey kong series for the n64, but was first seen in "Jumpman" , a 80's arcade game (also first appearence of Mario and the princess)

    But I use Sheik quite alot too. Pikachu and Link come in a close 3rd and 4th.

    I like to use Kirby's "absorb" ability when i have several lifes left
    and my opponent is on their last. Grab them in your mouth and walk
    off the edge of the stage with them in there. Hahaha, great game.

    Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Yoshi are from the Mario Series.

    Ice Climbers, came from Ice Climbers for NES.

    Mr. Game and Watch is from the Game and Watch LCD games Nintendo made before the NES was released.

    Marth and Roy are from the Fire Emblem series.

    Finally, Samus is from the Metroid Series.

    26 Characters Total. Yes, I'm including Sheik as a seperate character, why? Because I used Sheik, and Sheik only, also they play TOTALLY different. So, I use Sheik! Yay!

    I play as Zelda/Shiek.

    The one thing I don't like about SSBM is that the fastest characters always win. The game is totally dependent on speed, so characters like Falco, Shiek, Kirby, and Fox, in the hands of a good player, will annihilate slower characters like DK, Bowser, or Ganondorf.

    I'm just glad they nerfed Pikachu since the original one. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    For one, the speed thing is pretty much true, except...
    Link....

    He's the cheapest damn character in the whole game. When put into the hand of my friend, he's the lamest thing that ever hit the fighting genre. Ok, Link is quick for his power in two to three hard attacks, not smash attacks, he can get you to 20+ % in no time. That's stupid. Then, he's got projectiles of the masses. My friend runs jumps throws his boomerang and if he hits you with it, runs in and hits you with one of Link's overpowering moves. Than when you're trying to get on, he'll do his smash attack usually misses you. But being cheap like Link is, he uses his Double Smash attack, pressing A right after his first one hits me and kills me. NOTE: Link's the only moron in the game that has a Double Smash attack. Then if he misses with that cheap attack, he'll do another one. His ^+B, it's SO quick and you can't roll away from it because it's radius is so HUGE. And it gets Link of ANY situation. I hate Link in this game, he's such a cheap character.

    Roy.

    Easily my favorite character, and i enjoyed the Fire Emblem games and anime. Plus, he has possibly the best tripple jump attack, and the best overall devastating smash attacks. (minus a few, like jigglypuff and ness)

    Heh, the SSBM forums is where I use to hang out a lot; that is until I came across the NS forums.

    In terms of who I use to fight the most, in the original, Link was my favourite, and since Donkey Kong had the cheapest grab, I used him quite a bit as well.

    In SSBM, my favourite was Sheik; I haven't played it for a long time, but I was trying to get the hang of MewTwo; no one else used it, and it had some good moves, (but curse to its Pokemon origin!)

    foward b combo moves are wiked and strong! there's that swipe swipe strong swipe and spin and slice combo.

    There's also swip swipe strong swipe up swipe than a firery stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab-stab

    (i think that's how many stabs he does so quickly!)

    Yeah, Zelda isn't even in my games. I transform before the round. But you'll be mad once you play a Lame Link player. I don't have trouble with anyone but a Lame Link player.

    What's wrong with you people? It's all about Samus. Lethal up close and at range.

    Then again, my roomate is ridiculous with Marth. Most of our fights end up as long clash of the titan affairs with both of us dodging and blocking each other... On a good day, with me hitting all of my moves correctly, I can usually come out on top, but for the most part, I always screw up a move at a crucial point.

    Samus! She has the best ranged attacks in the game, and is pretty good at close range too. The only character that really owns her is Fox :X I hate Fox.
