Texture Lighting

<div class="IPBDescription">stuff</div> I havent really done texture lighting before, but I've sorta got it down

do the textures have to be func_walls?

and if you have any tips that'd be great.

    no the textures dont have to be func_walls, but in some cases they will be due to face splitting, etc

    also, take a look in your zhlt/hammer (if u r using hammer) folder and look for lights.rad
    open it with notepad or something, this is wat controls the light textures give off, i often add / edit this file

    Make a lights.rad in your compile tools folder

    then put the texture name followed by its RBG code

    Heres an example one

    I am working on a multi-mod lights.rad file so far it has existence, half life, and some natural selection, I think I will add angel's to it

    Don't worry MSM mine includes the half-life lights too.

    PS. A word to the wise. The maker of that "baby marine" avatar (coil) has asked people not to use them as he made them for specific people and would like to keep them specific to those people.
