<div class="IPBDescription">Is like a highschool classroom...</div> key: classroom analogies are placed in brackets []
when admins arent present, people goof off. they have fun, they break the rules, they cures, use the occasional exploit, do fun things other than productive gameplay, etc... [scream, get out of their seats, toss paper airplanes, write notes...]
when the admin[teacher] is there, it all changes. people generally follow all the rules. productive gameplay is a requirement. there's usually a good portion of people who simply listen and follow orderes. there are a few brown-noses[teachers pets] who pounce on any opportunity to say "Omg GJ (admins name here) way to pwn thoes hizoes," there are always a few wise **** [class clowns] who crack witty jokes and entertain the majority of the server, typically managing to get and average of 10 "lol's" per minutes, the dreaded Llama [attention defecit children] who are constantly spamming mic/text requests for a shotgun, and then theres the athority defying loud mouths [trouble makers, prone to being sent to the principal] who are outrageously concerned with justice, and can and usually will **** outright for minutes on end if they are forced from the ready room to the alien team for marine stacking.
*obviously this analyzation of the analogies that exist in the social structure of a classroom when compared to a computer game server could have been taken much further, but i dont feel like writing a term paper, so to any possible psychologists out there, dont bite my head off....
think of this like the "You know you play NS too much when...." thread, see what can be added

I much prefer a good, pro like game than everything cursing at eachother and generally messing around which often annoys the rest who plays on that server.
Yeah, good analysis, I've seen this happen way too often.
-psygnosis-
sounds like you go to a catholic school/take all AP classes
And no, I went to a public school, took a couple AP classes, several honors, others standard.
I never saw much of this behavior, even in lower level classes that I happened to be walking by or delivering information to. Of course my high school's test scores were generally higher than other schools in the area.
For those with the funny high pitched voices that r productive it is very different, i can cope with that.
What school did you go to? We don't have that blatant separation, but you can see a huge difference between AP Calc students and, say, those taking Health.
Most people in the higher-up courses are there to learn, most people in the lower levels are there to get by, smake some weed, and pick up chicks.
OK, I know a social life is cool, but believe it or not, you can get one without failing out of Intro to Phyisics, kthx. (BTW, ItP is like "If you drop a rock, what happens?")
Anonymous 1: What are you? 12 or something? Go back to bed.
Anonymous 2: I'm 13 you retard.
