<div class="IPBDescription">A funny but true story</div> As I was playing in that map with the reactor room and satcom hive ( I always forget map names lol)
I was targeted by the mystical stalker gorge. It would seem that no matter where ever I went there he would be. Mocking and laughing at me as he sprays me to death while while I struggle to untangle myself from his webs. As I hurridly built a RT I was suddenly splattered with his acid rocket. It was as if he were hunting me and only me.
As our base was being overrun by fades and fat onoses I ran out of the base and hid in an airduct. I thought I was safe but then i heard, clank clank.
"No could it be? Is someone coming?"
and this appeared in the chat.
Stalker Gorge: Run Davis ;p
I turned around and there he was trying to bite me. I got of a bust and turned and ran.
I don't think I could have presed my forward key any harder.
All I could see was the chat he must have binded a key.
Stalker Gorge: rUN f00l RUn! Bwahahhah!!!
I turned around and he was gone. Phew I must have lost him.
Over voice chat.
Davis this is the comm. Base is going down Im not gonna make it. Build this comm chair and set up a new IP.
Get there now!
I got to his way point. A tingle feeling coming over my body as I checked my 6. No sign of the Stalker gorge.
I found the CC. I started to build it jumping at every clank i heard. It would take them a little time to find me. The situation was hopless But I cant give up!
Tzzt ZttZZT Hiss RRrrrr. FINALY the chair was done and i hopped in. Command station online. YES That voice sounded so comforting all my fears gone now. It took me a while to get set up b/c my game glitched and I couldnt press IP icon for a few min. but the aliens were searching the other side of the map, I still had time.
And then it happened.
I placed an infantry portal. Bwoosh! "Glug"
Wait a minuet. What did I hear? Bwoosh Glug? GLug? GLUG? No it can't be no it can't!
I pressed LOGOUT and out I popped. And right into the side of an OT. I looked around in disbelief. I was surrounded! There were at least 3 of them plus a DT. And sitting there building the 4th OT was the Gorge!
I can only imagine the look on this players face sitting at his/her PC somwhere in the world.
For unknown reasons the OT were not shooting at me before so I didint know they where there. But once I got out of the comm chair they opened up. I dove back in the chair.
"base is under attack"
"The base is under attack"
"Do something!"
"Your base is under attack."
I just sighed and gave up. I sat in my tomb and resigned myself to my inevitable death.
The last thing I saw before everything went black was the chat.
