I'm new here, and you have Penny-Arcade to thank for that. I'd just like to say, damn, nice looking mod. It's actually instilling within me the desire to hone my mapping skills and try to help. Alas, they suck. I shall practice, however. You never know, years from now, I might come up with a map.

Since Team Fortress 2 is seemingly never coming out, thank you for taking over its place. Rock on, and keep at it.

An amendment:

What kind of physics are you taking? Are you heavily modding it too (like DoD or CS) or leaving it on the original Half-Life side?

Hey, welcome to the forums! Glad to see that your interested i NS... yadda yadda... noob greetings, sheesh, just make sure you read all the faqs so your topics and such don't get closed for posting about something weve discussed like 500 times . Well, i think to answer your question, its a mixture of both, its not like die instantly like CS, but its not nearly as overboard as TFC and such. Well, glad to see some more faces and to hear that PR from PA is actually getting alot of people, hope you enjoy your stay... just watch out for mole, and his pet bob.

I think he means other physics, like movement and collision physics and such. Umm, I'm not quite sure about that aspect actually, and I haven't seen a thread in which it's been discussed. Of course it could have just slipped by me, but you never know. I imagine that they will be somewhat like Half-Life. The aliens are able to move super fast, and the marines move slower than they do. That's pretty much all I know about the physics right now.

Concerning mapping... go for it. NS is a really hard game to map for (keep that in if before you become too frustrated with it) , but it's also got a wonderful community for feedback and support.

Glad to hear you're interested. (In NS... and mapping. )
