The servers i admin on are are great and all, all my clan members alot of the time, but personally sometiems i like fresh meat.
other day a guy named Kyeser( i think) came in, was AWESOME, i didnt get angry or go ' WTH?! hax! " when he totaly pwned me, left to right ( very unsual for me unless im on something 0_o ).
i got exited, for the first time scicne the beta i had a serious rival!

I guess, it would be nice if more advanced player played together, so we can ****(censored its the word that means pee) and moan to each other about how so and so is a hacker, when really were getting owned cuz there better.

I mean, who doenst love a challenge? i have sooo many pics of when i go on other servers and the score is 42kills 4 deaths, or 33kils 3 deaths or something rediculous like that.

i LOVE the scream they make " OMG THIS GAME IS AWESOME! " it makes me feel like ive done a good job or what not, more so, that flay has done a good job, even more so, that flay and team has done a good job.

A game, where the comander doesnt instantly get jetpacks, because he knows that if he got them HA they will rambo off and die and waste his time and rez, a place where building MOVEMENT first is ok!, a place where if they build movment first its OK to sacrafice hmgs for motion tracking! A PLACE!, without MORONS demand " HMG JETPACK I KILL HIVE KK THX! " , a place without numberous plugins that totaly alter gameplay ( voog, again i LOVE you, i swear, i sweear i swear , your a coding genious! /hug /props! ) a place where we can jsut get GANGSTA on some skulks!

The closest is pry on the std server when i order the marine team to try different strats(we tried the quick lmg/mine rush because our originaly comm built a tf.... and 2 turrets... at beginning of game.... it was fun in the end we lost tho because at that moment there we tons o noobs on the team(not usual it was kinda weird)) or the aliens to do a diff chamber.(im not in std im just charismatic like that. and a good marine)
or good ol' clan scrims there always fun to try out new stuff and play around with people you know are good.
just, im beginning to get bored, i hope 1.1 comes out kinda soon... but im sure my "boredom" is just me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

you know.. in daoc, there is a RvR, realm vs realm... and what makes me the most " fearful " of the other realm isthe lack of comunication... you cant talk to them and they cant to you, they are just xp and realmpoints to me, and i to them..
perhaps.. muting the alien team to the marine team? but then agian,.. how would you comunicate to say those valuable " wtH!? hax?! Join a pug team if you just want laid back compition.
Its a great server when the regulars are populating it, we've had some good times there. Would be glad to have even more experienced players though.
Sometimes I wish people would just <i>try</i> more on pubs. I hope it's just me but there seems to be a lack of desire to win on pubs. It's like, "Oh man the marines locked down a hive we're dead," and then everyone just go DM like all hope is lost for teamwork and the round is over.
I mean, I end up spending the rest of the round trying to convince my team that if we all got together and attacked at once we might be able to take them back.
This <i>might</i> result in one half-hearted rush which inevitable fails because only 3 people showed up and that leads to, "I told you we're dead," and then I have to explain that 3 people doesn't constitute as the whole team and that is why it failed and then I try to convince them to try again.
And this goes on for the remainder of the match. It makes the game very not fun.
I want to say that this is <b>not</b> a newbie phenomenon. I've played with clanners and pub regulars that do the same thing.

and NS doesnt just need n00bs half-life needs new players and if they choose to play NS thats even better
First of all, since your so damn good, you just have to be in one of the best clans in the world. Then you should just get yourself a clanmatch every day and whoop em' with your uber skillz against good opponents.

don't try to rush with cloak, pop up behind them
don't try to hide in a corner with cara, hide around a corner
don't try tho hide with cel at all, just run and use the floor/ceiling to dodge
If u wan't to try new things (sens or mov first) and u go on a pub, most of the time, you'll get a team yelling at you for dropping sens/mov first, and then they all go rambooing.
I had 1 time that the gorg build sens first, and 1 or 2 started yelling, but the rest said :SUYF, just deal with it, and adapt
and we completely pwnd the marines, (they also got to deal with what the aliens do)
So stop yelling that he's an newbie, and just accept players that r bored with always having to put up with d/m/s

idiots lol, anyways, i am in a clan, have been in for a while, im the leader of a squad with my buddy, and we play every single day from like 6-11. I think that constitutes advanced player status.

Thanks for the advertisment. We appreciate it very much. As it stands to date, at least 25% of the entire NS community plays on our servers EVERY DAY (66 people at one time, 24/7). We have registered over 9000 wonid (different players) which would represent about 80% of the registered NS population as a whole.

We now have 3 NSAdmin voogru.com servers running. All are 22 slot servers with 2, reserved slots. That means 66 clients on at once. If you think about this for a second, that would be 1584 different people that would play everyday; providing the 66 clients only play for 1 hour each. 1584 different clients means lots of server n00bs. Please be patient with them. Another thing to consider: there are ruffly 14,000 registered, NS forum clients. Voogru will have online playing 1584 clients, 24/7 = 15% of all the NS registered community.
If the cpu issues do indeed get fixed, we could run a total of 6 NSAdmin servers on the current boxes. I think we could keep 6 servers full 24/7, don't you? *IF* the cpu issues are repaired, that would be ruffly 34,848 different clients online providing they each play only 1 hour a day, ruffly all of the NS gaming community.
