i load teh map
it runs thouigh the usual stuff
map rendered
validity check is fine
trackeriu not valid blah blah blah
the game crashes on the first in game screen and tell me an error log is being created. this leads to confusion as i cant dfind it or figure out my problem
Most times files of your map (sky , textures , sounds) just have wrong names, wrong directories or formats.
And custom particle systems just love causing crashes.
teh contents of all teh map logs is nothing.
im gonaa give up go back rebuild than compile
gimmie 6 hours:)
EDIT oh default sky texture, no ps, no new sounds from last compile.
"complanar face" error makes the compiling process aborting -> you play your last compiled map version .

Leaf portal saw into leaf causes hall of mirrors (just when you look from exactly one position to exactly another one.
Large hall of mirrors, caused by leaks, cause a engine crash.
No idea about large hall of mirrors caused by leaf portal saw into leafes, becasue they are rare.
its a minor error that makes RAD take much longer and causes the mentioned HOM.
Its caused by too complex Level geometry (intersecting and curved surfaces) for the poor engine.
the saw portal error is 2 planes in teh same plane
i have 4 of tehm the ends of a hallway that is a little too long
it just has never casued a problem before.

of course that was with out vis run so i got 3886 visible faces
im gonna run vis now and see what happens
