~!$@!% toggleeditps
OK, I have semi-gotten "+commandmenu" to work in NS--it's really nice to be able to exec different configs, change cvars on the fly, and use map specific comms with it. Unfortunately in order to get the menu to work, one has to use toggleeditps in conjunction with the +commandmenu command. My menu bind is:
bind v "+commandmenu; wait; wait; wait; wait; toggleeditps"
This brings up the menu and then shows the cursor as needed. It works great until I want the menu gone, when the toggleeditps command screws up the ingame popupmenu (which I still use). I know this screwing up is related to toggleeditps being, well, a toggle--a command that has to be called twice in order to bring things back to their original state. In order to alleviate this problem I have added an alias at the end of every line in my commandmenu.txt that invokes the toggleeditps command. However, since +commandmenu itself is a toggle things get screwed up somewhere still. I have tried making a +menu/-menu alias for the commandmenu where it disappears when letting go of the bind, and that works as long as I don't actually use anything in the menu. So basically what I am asking is: has anyone else messed with this and had any success? If so, please post--I have as of last night tried everything I know to try and every variation of aliases I can think of with no luck.
P.S. Please don't post the "play default you noob" argument, as you will be ignored. (OMG HE HAS MAP SPECIFIC COMMUNICATION BINDS SO HE DOESNT HAVE TO USE THE MIC ALL THE TIME WHAT HAX!~@!)

Come on, nobody has found a way to do this? I really don't want to resort to scr_connectmsg boxes...
bind "v" "+commandmenu"
And when I press it it game, a cursor automatically appears for the menu selection, although I always use numbers, etc 1->2 or 2->1->5.
