As for aliens, I doubt it, the current system has one base ability, and one per hive, and I don't see it changing soon.
(LB, Original HL had 7 or so weapon slots)

I would say that as a purely temporary measure, and one that can be sacrificed in the future as need arises, that all readyroom participants be issued waterballoons and/or paintball guns.
Perhaps not the gratest idea, ppl would play paintball in the RR instead of joining the game....
2. Some sort of support weapon for marines. Something you drop for 1 guy in a group of 5 or so.

3)a grenade so i can suicide myself and try kill the alien trying to kill me with myself..if i die i atleast wanna do it so that i ensure maxim damage to winning enemy..
Replaces MT, must be equipped and standing still to use, emits "blipping" sound ala aliens, primary fire switches between motion tracker and friendly tracking (so you can see where team mates are, anywhere on the map). Otherwise works as regular MT.

2. Alien Pheromones: Splash it on a teammate and let the fun begin.
3. Frisbee: Trick a skulk to chase after it or just toss it to a fellow teammate for hours of fun.

the reason i didnt say flamethrower is because i really dont think that it fits with the TSA theme. Ever been set on fire in AVP2? It is ****ING irritating. Same with skulks and other things for that matter.
The Loogie Gun is a non-violent weapon from Snowcrash that would fire a glob of arachnofiber strands suspended in a fast-evaporating liquid. This glob of crap would hit you, and the more you struggled, the more the liquid evaporated and the stronger the microfiber strands became. I could see a squad of marines or even a Lerk using a similar weapon. It would occupy your primary weapon slot as a marine and would use a lot of energy as a Lerk. But it would virtually encase an opponent while you had your teammates go and munch on him <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Projectile weapons would still be usable, but only a teammate with a knife/welder could uncase you, slowly.

3. Inflatable marine (To make it look like you are covered when building things)

The comb and inflatable marine should have upgrades.
A mirror for the comb and a squeeky toy for the inflatable marine.

I think hand grenades would be an awesome addition. Although each marine should only have like one when they spawn, so that aliens can know when they're out (unfair to have beginning grenatde launchers).
I also think the shotgun should cost 17 resources.
As for miscellaneous additional weapons, I think a laser can simply be mounted to the gun and can be turned on or off like a flash light. Also, a flamethrower would be awesome for damaging many attacking enemies, although it would be somewhat close range.
