<div class="IPBDescription">In need of a competitive server</div> I've been playing ns for a couple months but never really had the need to post before, but in the past two weeks three of the servers I frequent got screwy (two shut down and one just got filled with noobs).
So I've been searching for servers for this past week and almost everyone I come across has 12 year olds spamming the voice chat, talking about how "l337" they are. When I try and comm they eject me because I spend money on upgrades and then throw up turret farms at every res tower. I'm begining to understand why people used to spam this board going, "aliens always win!" I've played 100 games in this time and 81 of them have been alien wins. So where can I play without little middle schoolers ejecting me and people actually use team work.

Run by the fine folks at www.arsclan.net, regular admin presence, fora to make suggestions and air grievances, and it's the home of <a href='http://www.caleague.com/?page=standings&show=1&div=natsl&conf=Central&dv=&x=4&y=14' target='_blank'>GoM</a>, so hey. Also gets a fair bit of play from u.Evo, |TE|, and zB.

its the best server ive played on, and sometimes we get ns dev on too (grendal u know ive bit your arse more times than anyone else lol )

there is no predictable "good server". These are pubs... which point to the fact that random people join based on what ping they get on each server... the only way to dictate which will have better players, is if its a clan server and their clan is good.. meaning that clan will play on the server and if the server is in a good ping/choke/loss class where lots of people will join based on good ping.. attracting better players.

There's always the possibility of good amin presence too, it's why I play at Roo's No Time for Muppets server as often as I can. It pings good, and there's an admin around about 60% of the time. Good quality regulars who use the mic a lot, so we actually get the occasional co-ordinated LMG / skulk rush in the middle of the game. The only problem with the entire server is it's a little too small (16 players, 4 reserved slots)
The ireland online server is pretty good too but I ping it poorly now so I don't play there anymore.
