<div class="IPBDescription">Inspired by holoroom - for ns_complex</div> My map <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=26394&st=0' target='_blank'>ns_complex</a> is really .. urm.. complex.
So I wanted to place this hologram model of the simplified map layout on some places inside the map.
Its flat, just visible from one side and simple because of e-poly count.
Its basics are almost complete... I will add signs for Hive ans Res locarions.
Its just a custom model showing a 3D minimap of my map.
Ingame it dissorts, fades, is transparent, moves and looks good even with this crappy texturing.
Any suggestions critic or texture help?

read the post foo! he just said, it's going to be for his map, think the hologram in ns_bast rr, like that but displaying level layout. He was asking for help on how to improve it.
sorry.. i dont get it.. is it for orientation? ... or to put together sectors of a map to give em names... (red sector..yellow sector..and stuff) me is stoopid..

BTW, the RR minimaps are in NS_Tanith.
It looks to me as if the red and blue areas denote raised/lowered areas/vents.
Its placed in 4 locations, the marine spawn and 3 places, each worth a marine outpost.
So aliens will die this way more often searhing the marine spawn.
ah forgot. I will place hologramm emergency exit arrows showing the way to the exit were the marine spawn is located.
Yeah great idea keep it up
The rotating was nice, the versical map was not.
This version is moving slowly too , but not moving into angles that confuse you seaching your way (y-axis 20° makes it visible for onos and skulk nicely)...
updated version with loation names and more paths.
First, control only has one "l"
Also, if this map was made when the facility was made, then how would they know where hives would be? I would rename the hive areas to what they were before the Kharaa came.
