What is the recommended server specs for a NS server running FreeBSD. Is a PII 450 Mhz and 256 MB RAM with a 10 mbit internetconnection good enough for a NS server? How many players do you think it could support?

my AMD T-Bird 1.33ghz seems to handle 16 players pretty well on Redhat 7.3 Linux with only the occasional lag increase past 110 avg ping for long games on like hera and such.
I run an 8 players server on a 600mhz celeron. It used to be a 400mhz <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo--> .
It runs the small maps fine, but it can't handle a lot of entities on the bigger maps. On the biggest maps pings go up, but it is playable.
If you are interested here are the specs: Celeron 600mhz 256 RAM (never uses > 128) Debian Linux 3.0 Optimum Online cable modem

PIII-866MHz, 512mb RAM, Windows 2000 PRO, T1 connection.
I run a 16 player server off of it and it pings fine until a game gets huge with lots of spawned entities. If they game runs long but there aren't many buildings it's fine. Even then, my ping goes from ~60ms up to ~100ms when it's those long, big games. Other people are still sub-100 cause they started off pinging sub-20.
im hosting a 22 (2 reserved slots) with no problems, i ant had ne major things with it yet. still a new server but seems to be running fine. if ne of u wanna drop by we just got lerklift and unstuck so stop by

There are a few who run lower, but it isn't suggested really.
