I was thinking something along these lines as well - more then likely using a PayPal account or something ...

But I personaly don't think Flayra is the kind of guy to accept something like this. I think he's making the game for the love of making it, not financial gain. I'm sure hes falttered as well ... and Im sure I should probably stop assuming I know what he thinks ...

I would not mind one iota if NS was made "Donate-Ware" meaning there would be a unintrusive button or a link somewhere that enabled you to send a small sum to the dev team. Either to cover the cost of servers or as a bit of extra thank-you, on top of playing NS of course.

Natural Selection T-shirts and what not?
I see plenty of good things that LOOK as if they could go on a T-shirt or mug.

If anything, the "I (heart) Bobs" should be in the selection, like in my "100% caught on" comic, just for the pure irony of it.

I forgot the name of the thing... carefree... or.. something like that, lets you set up your own "shop" that you sell this stuff on. They make you the T-shirts and mugs and mousepads and stuff that gets sold, while you get a part of the profit.

Sorta doubles as an odd... advertising system... "You love Bobs? What or who are Bobs?" "Glad you asked..."

i think if we gave flayra money he wouldnt take it. Maybe he would if he is really low on cash, but i wouldnt want to take money, its just not a good thing to get. If it was a company that gave him the money, ok, but not money from 16-22 year old guys that almost have no money, and then give it. At least, if everybody was giving money i think i would feel miserable if i did not gave some, but i am almost broke right now <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

i think we could send him a birthday present or something, but then that should be organized using PM...

Everybody loves Flayra. He's just such a nice guy. I agree about the present thing. We must get him something. I have come up with a list of possibilities, but of course why would I post them here? If anyone truly wants to commit to this, then we should work something out over mIRC or the PM system of these forums.

Anyway I'd just like to thank Flayra for all the time effort and money he's sacraficed for the production of Natural Selection. What a guy.
