    In console type in voice_loopback 0 and you won't be able to yourself anymore.

    You only do voice loopback if you are recording a demo or doing an HLTV game, and want to hear yourself.

    Like the old joke goes: 'Doctor, it hurts when I do this...' 'So don't do that.'

    Keep it set to 0.

    Another thing - If you like to run with voice_loopback 1 (Can't see why though, it makes me confused when I use it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->), but the sound makes echo to your teammates - are you using headphones or speakers?
    Because, Speakers + microphone = BAD IDEA!
