That is very odd. You tried searching the ua forums for this?

Running any other plugins? If so, what's the contents of your metamod plugins.ini? Loading order may be a problem.

All in all, you're probably better off posting for help in the UnitedAdmins forum dedicated to CD support. Search it first, as your problem has likely cropped up before.

Oh the joys of this error! I recall a rather lengthy posting I was involved in over this same thing...let me go find it

Original Posting (by me--changed name from Matt(Canada) to [MOM]Boris)
    <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=8&t=18114&hl=linksys' target='_blank'>Original...</a>
Second one after no response and should contain the answers you need:
    <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=8&t=22884&hl=linksys' target='_blank'>Second, more Informative post</a>

Just looking back, cracker, you were involved in this...you easily forget I guess <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Hope this helps...if not someone else can suggest stuff, but I assume this is your problem

Question to go with these? Are you running from behind a router?

    - Matt

PS if you had a working server before this...and it evolved from C-D, this will most likely NOT be the answer, but it is the same error msg.

Okay, more questions (and stabs in the dark):

Have you tried disabling all your other plugins, and only running CD? There may be a bad interaction between CD and one of the other plugins.

How did you install CD? You mentioned a "rather confusing installation html". All you need to do is unzip the CD file in your NS directory (since it expands into "addons/cdeath/"), and add "win32 addons/cdeath/cdmod.dll" to your plugins.ini. Since you're already using metamod, you don't want to make any changes to your liblist.gam (in other words, ignore the "Other Installations" section).

Unless someone here has experienced the same problem, I believe you've mostly exhausted our expertise. If you haven't already done so, I'd seek assistance in the Cheating-Death Support forum at unitedadmins.com .
