<div class="IPBDescription">for Skulks/Lerks/Gorges</div> I was thinking that IF the flashlight would be fixed for 1.1 and IF Kharaa would get decent nightvision we could actually make them useful. Normally maps can not be dark because there are all kinds of gamma-tweakers and lamers going around but howabout making special dark-corners and spots where there is 0 lighting. You can't see in them with any gamma and the only way to see in is the use of flashlight, however you can see out from dark-spot. Marines couldn't hide in them because of the Kharaa "always on dark-vision". Several dark corners in maps would make it more interesting since marines must use their flashlights and still gamma-tweakers can't get any advantage since the maps in overall are pretty well light-up. Would add new interesting stalking options for Kharaa too. So basicly what im suggesting here is that devs could encourage mappers to use this kinds of dark-spots.

also i dont really think the can make the flash light better. well the might but i have never seen it edited in any of the mods have ever played so i bet we will always be stuck with the same flash light gordan was carrying in Black Messa.
aliens need hive sight to give them heat of night vision, just something helpful. but remember its always fun to build OFT in the dark and lets rines be kill by it.

I may add one or 2 near-dark areas for hiding in ns_whateveritsgonnabecalled...
