    The map looks absolutely fantastic. Really awesome but there is one thing; Engine Hive looks a bit too marine friendly, maybe adding few green slime pile here and there would give Kharaa some cover from marine fire.

    Hey the map is nice. Could you give me the rmf or map please?
    If you dont want to i can understand. Then maybe you can tell me the name of the textures from the walls between the computer (on first picture). That would be nice.

    Yes engine might be a little marine friendly but no more so than viaduct, refinery or sat com. Aliens handle them now so it might hold up in testing. That said, I prefer closer more alien friendly hive locations.

    These images have probably not been properly altered in PS, but it looks like it has no shadows and contrast from the screens. Also, the hive just looks... dry...for some reason, cant figure out why.

    Aside from that, it looks fantastic, the architecture is brilliant and you have got nice details around the place as well.

    QBman i dont know which textures from 1º pic are you refeering to. i cant give .map or .rmf file as map is not totally finish right now, but maybe in a future i can make the maps open source.

    The only thing ive done with PS on the pics has been to use the sharpen filter.

    looks great. and great use of the NS wad. i do agree that hive needs cover for the aliens. might want to add a pipe or two so skuls can get jet packers.

    Looks great and yummy, except for how Engine looks a little choppy on the vine (as I call them) textures that are on the wall. That and its does seem to be a little too "marine friendly" but great looking map, can't for its finish <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I don't know if it's because you washed out your pics in photoshop or something, but the hive needs to be a little more atmospheric, more contrast... you know <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Oh, and QBMan the texture you're asking for is "comp_panel1"

    Looking good Blueman, very good! Though the overall lightning seems alittle bland, maybe more gamma will spice it up.

Its just that i liek multiple different lights in the same roo to make it more....."alive" you undestand me, and if you dont.....:\. Well ups hu ha hu! I do use red alot as i think it makes it more atmospheric, and adds that danger feeling to the level.

    Nice map. I concur however on the post about engine being wieghted towards marines maybe some coloumns or somthing. Jet packs can be nasty in an open hive. Look at refinery.

    Sewer acess though looks like a deathtrap for the aliens. A couple of boxes or something to hide behind might be nice.
    But all in all I like it.
