We want you for US...oh no erm help!
Hi folks ,

first off all thx for removing my old post. I was a little bit angry, sry.

Well when I watch at you maps I see strange texturing, but nobody cares.
Maybe someone could help me with texturing. Texturing isnt just my thing.
My problem here is that i would never texture that way because its not, lets say normal?
Would somebody have interest of doing a project together? That would be nice. Maybe a relativ new mapper who cant do vertex editing could learn from me and I could learn from his TEXTURING ideas.
But please dont come with the answer "Use the applytool you idiot"! Thats not the problem.
I hope someone can help.

Please!

QBMan

Yopu remind me to Sid who failed in some mayor mapping stuff like you.
He found a new home in the models and Skins forum.

    Hm.

Could you try and detail this problem more?, maybe with some images as well.. I'm having trouble following you. It sounds like.. one of those problems that you might "just" need to sit down and work at to solve. It's clear you're aware of how one applies textures, so it's the other aspect, what textures to use, when to use them, why, etc? ..

Try to put your thoughts to paper (well.. technically not paper of course ) more detailed, and see if you can clearly describe your problem. There's a chance just doing that will make you see something in a different light, without any active help from anyone here.

Oh man thank god I made it. Well the problem was the sloping corners. Cause the texture is not repeating in x and y ways, so there was the problem. But now I think I got it. I didnt know the Ns textures as well, I didnt want to use the HL-standards.

    So thx for answering.

P.S. No sorry iam not a bad modeller but I can do mapping so great (exept of textures I thought).
Maybe Ill buy Milkshape because I can programm too so it would be worthwhile.
