    Will we ever see the return of Zerik, Mason and Wilcox?
    In my mind it was left pretty open-ended. No wreckage, no dropship.

    I'd love to see the characters return in a new story.

    In all seriousness, the ending was left open intentionally. Not so much to allow me room to work in something later (but that's always a good idea, though not very viable in this situation), but to create a sort of aura around the characters.
