    You'r on ns forums. You don't have to ask <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Do. Not. Go. There.

    There have been posts like this before. Always ends up all flamey between the CS-likers and the CS-suckz factions.

    Not that this is gonna stop anyone from posting like <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> Maybe this will be the intelligent thread about
    CS vs. NS <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    They both have their strengths and weakness. You're asking this on a NS board, so most people will tell you NS is better. I like both, though NS is better <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Both of these mods have little in common other then their greatness. If you surveyed 1,000 random people and asked which they would preffer, the majority would say CS. I think CS is great, it was, and still is revolutionary (in gameplay) and amongst the best games ever made. The same is true of NS. I personally believe, that due to the nature of NS, the more tactic and strategically inclined (could I say smarter?) people would preffer NS.

    With that being said, me, and the majority of the this forum's members would preffer NS.

    I'd have to agree. Your sampling a somewhat biased group of people <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I think which one is better is really a matter of what your mode is at any point in time. Allow me to explain.

    1) If I'm having a bad day and just want to mindlessly kill things without having to worry to much about anything besides who to shoot at, CS is the way to go. For pure action and carnage over a long period of time, CS is king.

    2) If I want to play a more social game involving lots of strategy and see-saw battles, NS is better.

    It really just depends on what type of game you're looking for at any point in time. Neither is really better. They're like apple and oranges, both good, but really too different to directly compare.

    err they are 2 different types of games, I don't see how you can compare them...
  • JowerJower Join Date: 2003-02-12 Member: 13448Members
    What I don't see is how you can call CS revolutionary
    And at the same time NOT call NS revolutionary

    <span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:red'> ARMING NUKE</span></span> press the red button nemesis

    Both games have their upsides and downsides but I still enjoy NS more.
