Here is a new map for you all to try, It is a very small map compared to most, but i like little maps (I have a very short attention span) <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

It is fairly simple in design, and it is not that eye pleasing at this time, but it will grow in time. Right now im just testing out the game play, and how even the level is...
Any CONSTRUCTIVE feedback is welcome, and i would like to hear what you all think of it. I have only played it once with 6 people and it worked fairly well, but the aliens won 3 out of 4 rounds.

Try floors that cant be build upon. Make the only flat piece of ground the marine spawn and they cant build anywhere =P
No comm chair and all vents are weld shut. Cant get out of marine spawn.
Aliens: same thing. The big door on the lower level of the circular hive stays closed. Biting or pressing the use key a hundred times doesnt help a bit. There is a vent on the top floor of that hive but i cant get into that for some odd reason? Maybe too small?
Anyways that circular hive looks nice. (the idea i mean offcourse). Textures arent fitting nice everwhere and some clipping occurs but the overal idea is nice. Make the green light a little less green cause all other colors dissappear.
Needed 5 minutes to find the CC in specating mode.
Without a welder you are nothing.
You can not secure the CC (not build in water).
You can not secure any place because they are too small and there is always a vent to go around that place.
The water in one hive should not kill.
You need more orientation in vents.
Nice atmosphere.

-I am working on those problems that you all talked about, i was really debated to have that water hurt you, but for some reason it kills you, where i just wanted it to hurt the players. Im not sure why it kills you in like 2 seconds, but i will work on it.
-The next update will all be about lighting and little things to make it look better and more fitting to the surroundings.
-I will work on the vents...
-The marine start is all welded shut for a reason, the com chair in in the hole, at the marine start. you have to shoot the vent to get to the CC.
-Ill try making the map unbuildable in some areas, that sounds interesting.
-If i get more people complaining about not being able to build around the CC i will remove the water, but i did that on purpose... that is what mines are for.. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

More work is being done, i want more feedback on how gameplay is working, and how even it is.... thx! (Please let me know if you have a server to put this map on, i want to get some play on a few pubs, or clan server.)

-I think you all will like the new lighting i put in the ns_ambush02, it really adds to the level and looks the way i was shooting for...
-Ill put up ns_ambush02 later tonight or tomorrow...
-I think i might not include the no building areas yet, i want the level to be tested in pubs before making changed like that...

I have no idea why, or how, but chunks of the level are gone.... so i guess it will ever stay as ambush01... or untill i get enough energy to redo all the work that i did in the last few days....
