Define "thin."
Are you saying that a func_wall that is a certain width will not allow fades to shoot/blink thru???

Maybe if you hollow out the func_wall and null texture the inside? I dunno, could do something.... or not.

You could put a trigger_teleport to send the fade back to the other side if all else fails.
