Re: The 'triple res node' If that IS a dot to denote the center of the map, it must be plain ol' freight elevator. If the blue circle shows where you're looking at (I assume it does), and the layout is reasonably the same, then the 'tripple res' is actually the almost-double res in freight.
It seems to me that the maps are darker. With alot more shadows to hide in. Is this just your settings Flayra? Or is the game taking on a darker, creepier atmosphere?

Count the marines as officially screwed then. I do believe it's been said that bunnyhopping (the hl engine exploit for increased speed) will be taken out in 1.1. Personally though, I don't think this is going to affect gameplay much, if at all. It'll just **** off the '"elite"' players who rely on b-hopping too much. Heh.
Ah, bunnyhopping will be gone. I will be the first (or second, or third) to say, yay!!
This is an exploit like any other, not a 'skill'. Silently moving at top speed, or moving at greater than was supposed to be allowed speed is no skill.
As for the pictures, oooooooo, perty. Onos more often, improved commander interface, electrified Tfacs!!! *drool*

Not to get off topic... but You are wrong. And most likely cannot bunnyhop effectively. Otherwise you would probably not make such a statement.
Bhopping is a skill just as good lmg aim is a skill. It doesnt require a script. It doesnt require any type of outside program. Its just a combination of buttons and mousemovement that make someone more agile.
Now I must say that silent bhopping is alittle ****. But bhopping is a part of the hl engine. Valve had the option to remove it completely when everyone was complaining about it 2 years ago. They didnt. It's Flayra's game and he has the right to remove it or not. But dont bash those that can and do bunnyhop... just because you cant... and feel its an exploit.
You know there was a time when there was no limit to bhopping? You could go as fast as you had room to gather speed. Valve limited it to 140% of normal speed.
If you dont know what I mean... just learn how to do it... then you will understand. Using only your strafe keys for movement.. jump and sweep your mouse side to side. If you cant figure it out you should go play Oregon Trail or something of that nature.

Good god another bhopper defender. Face it: it's a physics exploit that was never intended to be in the game. Yes, Valve could have taken it out, but why should they bother? It's only a problem in mods that are outside of their care. Tapping keys in a certain way as to produce a higher level of speed than you are supposed to be able to achieve IS an exploit. It may require some "skill" to pull off, but at the end of the day it's exploiting a bug in the physics engine. Compare this to say, circle-strafing, and realise that bhopping is not a legitimate part of any half life mod: it offers an advantage to a player which they were never supposed to have.
