Error Message

<div class="IPBDescription">Moved to Generl Forum</div> I posted this in the Technical Support forum first, but never got any responses so please don't remove it till I do. I'm not able to play on a lot of servers because of this error.

After I join a server and then try to join a team, I get sent to the console with the following error message:

CL_Parse_Version Server is protocol 1701860131 instead of 46

Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it?

    I don't know what it means, but are u sure you have the latest version of half life installed?

    Cheater?!?!?!? I wouldn't know the first thing about cheating at any half-Life mod. I swear I am legit.

    I think there is a thread in the tech support forum on how to get NS and CS to love each other.

    If that doesn't work, try a reinstall of Cs and NS, and make sure both are up to date
