<div class="IPBDescription">From game it goes to black screen.</div> OK after reading some posts and searching for something similar I found one post w/o a sollution so maybe posting again will help my cause. Here are my computer specs.
Antec SX1040BII SOHO Case -

Ok with that said and licks just so if you dont know what the stuff is. Well I run NS in 32bpp 1024 x 768 RES and Open-Gl the game works fine when I have a shortcut to my fav server. But lan games get screwed up. There is a small window in upper left corner of the hl start screen the one with Console, net games, settings, ect. And when I hit my Esc key it makes the computer freeze and black screen. I have all latest updates for my Card but I use default settings. can anyone help me fix this problem it is also a problem with CS running in the same res and open-gl it does the same black screen.

ok, I get thne same problem and I am ussing compleate diff specs then you.
However when ever I get this bug I simply hit escape and I get back to the menus and then resume and I am in
Do you hit escape before or after the level loads?
HL will bork on me if I don't wait for the con to scroll up so I simply wait, you might wana try that <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
oh and does this ALWAYS happen? (dosn't on me, it is sorta sparadic)
