<div class="IPBDescription">how to get ingame text</div> How do you get that ingame text like in ns_seige and in some bots that i have seen? it dosn't work for me when i do it the old way with HL, but it would be very useful!

I'm not possitive becase I don't have VHE at my dads house, but it's either game_text or env_text. Just target it with just about anything.

i tried that, buts it was a no go... im not sure why? ill play with it some more, but i think i tried that already...

I probably did something wrong though haha

I dunno, worlks fine for me. What are you trying to trigger it with? I've used multi_managers, func_doors, trigger_once, and trigger_hurts to trigger 'em before, maybe you messed up a flag in theenv_text's settings?

Check the "all players" flag.
Without it just makes sense in singleplayer.

well what i am really looking for is a way for it to trigger text for each person coming into the level AND to have something trigger a multi manager at the start of the match, is there a trigger for the start of a match? or is that just multi manager info???

P.S.- i tried trigger_auto ---> game text.. and HL just crashes.. so i think something is wrong haha <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'>
