    I assume marine start in middle. One hive in 3 out of the 4 hallway end thingies? What's in the last one though? Or is marine start at the end and resource in the middle?

    I am going to guess that marines start at the end of the hallway with the yellow lights and there are hives at the end of the hallways with red lights.

    Anyways the map looks alittle boring to me. Its all at the same.

    the 4th room is the double res and this map sux because its an alien map AND in the command view anything is so tiny that you cant upgrade this btcause the structures are 4 pixels bug.

    I find it amusing that you expect quality from a fall map, or any 'fun' map for that matter. (If you didn't guess I loath all 'fun' NS maps. but that is a rant for another time)

    Elite Guard, may I ask why you posted this thread? And what is this 'terrible secret' that you have uncovered? Is it because the layout roughly resembles a swastika? Or is it because the mapper put small turns in the outer hallways to act as vis blocks? Or maybe I'm just reading into something that has nothing to be read in to.

    Is it me or dus the hall way gets smaller and smaller if u run to the middle of the map.

    Uhhh.... I made that map. It's a fun map... it's supposed to be FUN, not quality. If you want a quality map I've done, please check out ns_surface on nsworld (unless you are radically opposed to outdoor maps). And as for the swastika, well, the arms of a swastika point the other way, and yes, the corners in the hallways are vis blockers. For anybody wondering about the layout, the MS is in the center, double res down the yellow hall, all other halls lead to rooms from which you can siege the hive from a small platform, the hive is hidden in a small room through a vent so jetpacks are required to get in. Skulks climb through vents and fall on top of the marines from a ridiculously high distance. The commander view is high so he can build on the tall siege platforms or in the hives.

    And before giving me needless criticism, remember it's a FUN map! Go download ns_surface and criticize that instead please! Thanks =)
