  Check the mapping forum. Ollj has been playing with ripent. He's modified the map entities on nancy here and added an electrical arc, it seems.

  So, I take it when upgraded, they're not mines anymore, but more of a electrical wall barrier device. Would they explode if an alien passed between them or would they detonate when a fade shoots at them?
