DON'T !!!

Have you ever tried the range of healspray???

The boogers will lose impact over lets take a fictive number: 15 ft
heal spray can tackle at least 75% of that distance

apart from that, healspray is very lethal in damage, especially if you can hop around a DC while under attack
I took a HA marine down with healspray who was attacking the hive with 3 DC under it today

I swear, Healspray is waaaay too underestimated!!!

i 2nd that!

heal spray always, that spit is just total crap imo.
if i had a penny for every time i took someone down who thought they were out of the range of healspray... well i errrrr might have around 10 pennys <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

Well heal spray is certainly a lot easier weapon to master, but it's still bloody funneh to drop down jetpack players with teh boogershootingthingiewinkie.

Healspraying is awesome, especially when you have like 2-3 'rines in a very small place. I managed to do a double kill in a vent today <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> .

Also remember that health spray goes THROUGH things.

You can health-spray the jp/marine camped on top of your hive with a welder when you can't booger him.

I wish someone would show just what the range of health-spray really is... is it a bubble around the whole gorge? teardrop shape extending from the head?

I know it gets stronger the closer you get.

And before I always thought healing spray was only useful for healing. Now with this range and the attack of just the health (anyone can confirm?) and not armor, its puddy dawn useful!

Aye true,

but the BOOGERS ( <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'> ) lose their damage impact after a couple of feet => same as with the OC boogers, if you're far away, they won't hurt your armor or your health.

IMO Healspray maybe doesn't do most damage in theory, but it does in-game.

22 damage per spit, missing half the time < 16 damage per, hitting all the time.

For anyone who isn't <i>rediculously</i> good with spit, use healspray. If you are that good, do whatever you want :-p

The only use spit has is to blow up mines. Otherwise, healspray is superior to it in every single way, heh. Whenever I gorge, I run around with my healspray out and ready. If I come across an injured alien, I spray him back to health. If a Marine comes across me, I plop down an o-chamber and circle strafe it building and spraying. Healspray is just pwnij.

While nobody was defending Port engine, the skulks i mean, i had built 3 DC's
3 lmg marines attacked me, so i started my little hide & seek tactic while spraying healingspray, they all died.. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>. The DC's healed me faster than they could damage me. And i noticed that healingspray has very good range indeed. Most people think that you have to be very close for it to work, but thats wrong assumption <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'>.

Spray will only hit one target at a time. This must be remembered. Whilst it does have a cone FOF in front of the Gorge, only one target will be affected at any given time (Seems to be the one closest to the centre of crosshair, unsure)

So if you have a JP on a hive, and you spray at the hive (fron underneath for example) you'll just heal the hive, not hurt the JP. This can make a BIG difference sometimes (for example, if the JP is currently welding your hive to death)

about the hive welding jp guy

I had that two days ago, I was gorge, Silo hive, 3 dc's str8 under it on the ledge, no oc's yet

the jp rine was sitting on the DC welding the hive to bits, and I hopped on and started spraying, cos you know, 3 DC's redemption, I was like WTH, I'll win that one easy...

it took me 5 seconds to slay the rine...

So I don't think that little story of yours is true for sure <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'>

Holy sh*t yeah this gorge got me in midair with the damnable spit after we had wasted their hive.

Whereas this other gorge who shall remain nameless missed me completely at point blank range with spit while we danced around each other. I took him out.

He must have been on an off day, since there is no reason for him to use spit in that situation.
