Well, I'm guessing no since it says all sounds are disabled cept for hit sounds...maybe when you explode it makes noise but I don't think they will hear you scream.
Yeah, it would silence the scream probably. Makes it more difficult. I don't think you should worry about silencing the explosion--by then you're dead, and hopefully so are some Marines.

Both the scream and the bewm are audible. Leap on a silenced skulk is not, however. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

leap should be silence , who wouldnt wanna see a skulk fly past the end off a corridor with out making a sound <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I'd be very happy if the Leap sound is a "whoosh" if the Skulk flies by a marine's head. Just think about the sheer volume of underpant soilage opportunites!!
Silenced + cloaked Skulk leaps past a marine's head, lands on the wall, and disappears before the marine turns in its direction. Marine looks around, scratches his head, shrugs, and walks off down the hall.
Skulk leaps again, "whoosh"es past the marine's head, lands on the floor, and disappears. Marine looks around again, then continues walking down the hall right into the jaws of the Skulk.
Now if only Leap were Silenced, and Xeno still made their sounds, it'd all be all good!! (hehe, jk Thansal!!! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)

He never said there were no marines around to hear it. He said there were marines around to hear it.
Please re-read his post.
I've only seen very few Xenocide attacks throughout my time with NS, probably because at that point it's just more useful to go Fade or Onos.
Here's hoping to a change of ability! *downs a mug*
