Any of the recent FGSs posted around here include the extra ZHLT light flags for opaque, light_origin, texlight_style, etc. Unfortunately Cagey's recent tools, from about p4 to p9, contain a bug in which entities do not block light even with this flag set, so wait for p10 or else go back to an earlier version, such as Merl's base 1.7.
I'll be releasing 1.7p10 in about 20 minutes, so you shouldn't have to wait long <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

If people keep finding bugs, I'm going to keep fixing them... I've stopped adding features for the time being, so if taleden, mendasp, & company don't report another problem this will be it.
At least I haven't had an opt_plns problem in 2 months <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
hey man, all the effort is truly appreciated. you doez good work. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Me has no time to do good work *sigh* <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> btw... does flickering light consist of different lightmaps, or is it just one map (floating-point values) with changeing intensity?

ok, thanks. I asked because I wanted to know two things: It is NOT possible to change the light's shape every 'frame' (for a vent with a fan in it). A light of values '255 100 100 10000' with a Custom Appearence of 'aw' will be projected as a fade from white over red to 'black' in the 'z' period and as a fade from GRAY (not red) to dark-red to black in the 'w' period.

If you mean the updated FGD(s, there are several variations), it (they) are posted in this forum as well. Dig around a bit and they should turn up.
