I'm hooked!
Man oh man this game rocks. I absolutely love it. While Link To The Past has always been my idea of gaming perfection, this one comes very, very close. I'm honestly suprised I like it, being that I hated Zelda 64 and all. Perhaps I need to give z64 another chance if its anything like this. Plus now I'm dying to know the bits of the story in that one that I missed!

I'm not too far into Wind Waker I don't think. Well, I am, but I hope there's more heh. I just got the Master Sword, but I won't say any more as to not spoil anything for the rest of you. And those who've gotten further than me, please don't spoil anything for me. ^_^

Yeah The Wind Waker ownz. I think i'm
alittle further into it than you but you're
right to be reconsidering Ocarina Of Time.

/me wonders if Doomeh named his character "Doomeh"/
"Pudgeh" / "Link" or "Googleh"

Yeah, it's amazing, just wish I had more free time to play it - I've only just finished the Tower of the Gods dungeon and reached what I assume is a submerged Hyrule. Love the graphical style, I could watch the cartoony explosions all day. I even enjoy just sailing around, charting the seas, when I know some people found the sailing parts dull. I just wish there more villages like Windfall Island where you can just wander round.

I didn't play through OoT either, as I didn't have an N64, had to make do with playing brief snatches of games on my friend's console. Can't wait to get stuck into the OoT bonus disc once I'm done with WW

I've not played this game myself yet, but i've sat there and watched my friend play it for a little while. From what i can see, i do and don't like it. I like it more than Ocarina, but that's not saying much. There appears to be +FAR+ too much travelling. And the open sea looks far too plain and boring. From what i can see of the game, i'd just give up and not play it the second i had to travel anywhere.

Yeah I picked up my preorder at 9am on Friday (When it first came out)

Spent all day Friday playing it, it really is a fantastic game. Too bad I had to work Friday night.... and then Saturday night.... and then get 4hrs sleep then wake up and go out for Mothers day Sunday.... and now it's 2:40am and I'm JUST WAKING UP.

*grumble*

Anyways... Zelda = the shizzy shiznit

And you ALWAYS gotta name him Link, because that's his real name ****!

Oh DOOM, how your silly mind doesn't know about how much replay value Wind Waker doesn't have. This game's only fun while going through the story. And that gets boring after the second time. Then Nintendo tryed to put in Replay value by putting in that stupid Nintendo Gallery, which isn't even fun. Have fun with the Uber Fun Last battle though!

Nintendo added replay value by including the bonus discs!

I shall be playing all 3 games for a VERY long time

Damn, I should have preordered.

Pretty good game so far, I'm almost finished. I don't think I'll want to play it again though, so I'll probably trade it in. /me pets his copy of Ikaruga, now that game has replay value ;o

Yeah, the replay value is probably close to nothing. At least not unless you can start w/ the boomerang ^_^ I just love that boomarang.

That's why I love Link To The Past. 10 years old and its still a blast to replay every once in awhile! Super Metroid too, very high on the replay value!

It's only two games.... Master Quest is almost the same as Ocarina of Time. What's the difference? Nothing much just the puzzles in the dungeons are different and that's it. But there's things they changed in the game I'm TOTALLY **** about, stupid Nintendo of America making the games playable for the kiddies.

The Mirror Sheild and various blocks in the game had a design resembling the Crecent Moon and Star, like the Islamic thingy. So that was changed.

Also, when you rock Ganondorf at the end and he spits up the blood, it's not Red anymore... it's Green. WHY!? IT MAKES GANONDORF LOOK LIKE AN ALIEN! Stupid 5 year old Nintendo lovers and their stupid Mom's whining about BS like that.

Also in the end, when Link slices Ganon's face and the, was once, Red blood sprays everywhere, it's green, once again Nintendo's kiddie fans.

PS: DOOM since you have the Master Sword... you're about 50% done with the game.

I'm totally not. I'm just **** at those stupid Mom's that complain about Video Games and everything in them. Like BS like Video Games teach you stupid things. You know, after I played Mario, I couldn't stop killing Turtles and Mushrooms.

Super Metroid - fantastic

I really, really should get a gamecube. I need to play Prime and I suppose Zelda. Definitely need to check out Prime though, I played a little bit of the demo in a store and liked it. Adding to the fact that Super Metroid was my fave SNES game...

Meh, Metriod Prime's not as non-linear as Super Metriod, which I love, but never beat!
• DOOManiacDOOManiac Worst. Critic. Ever. Join Date: 2002-04-17 Member: 462Members, NS1 Playtester
O.o Prime is just as non-linear as Super Metroid is... Its just that you have the map hints (which you can turn off if you don't like it) to save players from the frustrating parts of gameplay. I mean really you can't tell me you enjoyed going over the entire world again for 3 hours cause you missed one little crack you were supposed to morph ball bomb on the other side of the planet. heh. But they're both pretty linear in the "get these items in this order" fasion. ;)
• InfinitumInfinitum Anime Encyclopedia Join Date: 2002-08-08 Member: 1111Members, Constellation
Yeah map hints really are the saviour of Prime.

I tried playing without it for a bit. 4 hours later....

Wind Waker was a really good game but Ocarina still kicks ****.

The "Wind Waker" instrument was...non fun. The ocarina was a lot more intuitive and fun to use.

I'd play it but the controller on the Gamecube looks like a space octopus puked on a robotic boomerang, and the graphics look way too cartoonish. BTW, the Zelda 64 are the shiznit as far as I'm concerned

100% True, and the Majora's Mask "Instruments" where funner, because of the bigger selection! ^_^
