So Veterans and Playtesters, can you please explain in great detail all the new/updated animations going into 1.1?
I was told there would be 1 new marine animation and 1 new weapon animation.
also, can you please tell us the animation process of Devour? we all want to know <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
And are the animations that were in place, but weren't in 1.0, now in 1.1?

Devour... you get eaten by the onos, and your screen is a view of the belly of the beast (red colored stomach which pulsates kinda thing). Readyroom and kill commands are disabled while being devoured. After the devour time is done, you die (duh).
The onos is shown a "devour status bar" at the bottom of his screen, showing the percentage of devour (100% = marine dies). The onos also receives health from the devouring marine, kinda like regen (but less powerful I believe). The onos is free to fight and kill other marines while devouring, except he can't devour a 2nd marine <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.
Other marines just see their comrade disappear, I don't know if a special "being eaten" animation is planned.
maybe the time to devour could also be related - 100 hp marines take 50 seconds but give 100hp, while 2 hp marine take 1 second and only give 2 hp
/me imagines a diet conscious Onos washing down the 1st marine with a diet coke and going for a quick work out at the gym...
What i want to know is when the unused player and marine structure animations will be added to the game? If you use HLMV and view many of the marine structure animations you will see they include death animations where the structure topples over... the arms labs looks so cool when it topples over forwards and the extended front panel buckles under it!!! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

One way of telling how close you are to being fully digested is by listening. The echo of noises changes a bit from when you've just gotten into the belly of the beast to when the Onos is about to be done eating you.
You can still voicecomm and hear voicecomm as normal, so far. You'll be hearing a lot of "Get me out of here!" type exclamations.

So you can hear the fight continue outside the gut, and the sound fades away as you die? *joy* you say 'echo of noises' which is interesting - truly a sort of echo or just your wording?
I cannot wait to hear my first "Aaaaa I'm turning to goo save me save me"
actually the onos does spit the gun out after the marine is digested.
