<div class="IPBDescription">For winamp 2.x</div> this is the playlist so far, you can see me building the text in the background... i'm ripping everything from the NS sprites/shell, so nobody can argue that it isn't NS.

i'm working on the text (as i said)
i'm not sure about the white line around the list itself, but not sure what to do with it...
i'm not sure about the "close" button..

and well, what do you think?

    Not bad at all. Also, might I sugges a small thing <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    The areas around the outside of the blue border you have made black, make them transperent. Overuse of transperency is a bad thing, but imo if you just do those small areas around the edge you could get some impressive results

    *sigh* can you explain to me how to do transparency on a winamp skin? because every colour i tried didn't work...

    Just as well I came across this thread. This skin on completion would definitely be the one I'd be using all the time.

    As for the transparency thing, this <a href='http://www.1001winampskins.com/winamp_skin_tools_region_TransTrace.html' target='_blank'>program</a> might do the job.

    update....

    not sute about the select sprite around the TSA... but it looked cool when it was bigger...

    ohh, and all that white text isn't going to be on there...

    i think you should try to stick to the old tsamp style or make a new one from scratch

    well, instead of using the defau;t "template" i'm using the TSAmp as my template... it has some cool stuff i wanted to keep... and some stuff i want to toss... so thats why theres some stuff from the TSAmp...

    its slowly comming together... this will make the second released... and Fam, if you read this, release the one you showed off... PLEASE!

    well Fam, you showed one off in another thread looked more than acceptable... i would be telling a lie if i said i could "duplicate" your style perfect enough to finish that skin for you (if you want it finished)... i did a horrible job on the first one... and i wouldn't want to mess up your artwork like that... (i also did not have access to a font-name, or any of the like...)

    BUT... if you want me to finish it up, send it away, if you want me to modify it a little it, send it away, if you want to give me permission to hack apart that image in the proces of re-creating it... let me know...

    You're getting there, I really like the playlist but i'm a little unsure of the background for the main window. Repetitive lines are a little ugly and it doesn't look good with the buttons and indents having no definition. I'd suggest adding a border around the timer, and the track title.

    And Fam, I found this on my harddrive begging to be deleted, i'm pretty sure this is one of yours from way, way back before the release of 1.0:

    Looking good.
    Few things I'd suggest:

    Make the background to the 'time' box black... so that the numbers and mini-avs don't stick out.
    Add horizonal lines to the background of the stereo/mono image.
    I'm a little ooky about those buttons, but that's probably just a stylistic issue of my own and in reality they're fine.

    Looking forward to it.
