Well it seems to be smaller than original muzzleflash, so it can be consired of cheating.

Off- Topic: How can making it smaller be concidered cheating? I removed the flash completely, hell I could remove the whole model and its not cheating. By your definition of cheating, changing anything that is not original is cheating. The alien model for the sculk has a long head a tail that you can easily see stick out. Cheating is wallhacks, aimbots and scripts.

On_Topic: It an alright but I will stick with mine.. or lack there of.

Hsu, Its a thing that developed with the CS community, ANYTHING appart from rates that is changed is wrong, I bypassed that community going from the hldm to TFC ones then to NS, so I personally dont see any problem, as neither hldm or TFC communities really care about whether or not someone is using say r_drawviewmodel 1, or has a custom sprite that is smaller that defaut, ONLY thing these communities consider cheating IS (or was, as these are now mainly made up by CS junkies now) wallhacks and aimbots,
hell bunnyhopping was considered skill in TFC.... now its an exploit, even tho official hldm guides tell you how to do it, ho hum.

They're reducing the muzzle flash in 1.1, so technically it wont be cheating when it's released....

well... I also already converted <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=27965' target='_blank'>the welding sprite for the muzzleflash</a> some weeks ago.... <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'>

(looks the same as the "LMG.spr" you included in the zip, but my conversion is a bit bigger)

How it can be cheating ?!?!!?!
If you remove your muzzleflash, it is a <b>LOT</b> easier to shoot aliens than with the original muzzleflash.
Same goes with the skulk teeth animation thing.

So you have removed your muzzleflash sprite ages ago?
Ok, download this file, put it in your ns/sprites folder and join in a game. Iam sure that you can't kill a **** as marines <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'>

Agreed, changing the default muzzlash or skulk bite is cheating.

Those custom models doesn't bother me and personally i don't even think it is cheating.
Yes they might help you a bit to see aliens or marines behind the corners or dark areas. But most of the players doesn't download custom models so they could see the enemy easier, they download and use them, because they are cool. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'>
