The funniest thing happend last night. I was a rine and the whole team of 10 players was spawning back from 1 ip and there were a couple of skulks around it. When I spawned back I managed to shoot 2 skulks with the lmg and then i ran out of bullets, so I picked up my pistol and started shooting like crazy. And guess what happend... It said I shot MYSELF with the pistol!!! LOL. Is there a way to kill ur self with a gun, or was that just a cool bug?

Exactly, or if it showed the pic of the pistol, that's a whole other story. I saw this alot in DoD 3.1

It's not hard to do in DoD 1.0 either, I do it all the time. It usually happens when I set up my machine gun to close to a wall or something and some of my shots hit it and they somehow damage me.
Example: You can lob a bilebomb at a marine then quickly switch to blink and fire before the bilebomb hits the marine. It will show the marine being killed with blink. If he's low enough on health of course.
But for this to work in your case, you would have had to have killed yourself with team_infportal then fired your pistol. This isn't possible unless you had some severe lag. Maybe there's another explanation.

Killed with... blink??? Even funnier a concept than getting killed with healingspray!
According to people who posted in this thread, it happens in DoD too.
And I'm almost sure that I didn't stand on the ip...
